Karbala: The Director of Media and Government Communication in Karbala Governorate, Tawfiq al-Habali, announced today that 684 journalists and 153 media outlets are actively covering the Arbaeen pilgrimage in the holy city of Karbala. This large-scale participation includes local, Arab, and international media outlets, alongside 18 outside broadcasting vehicles.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Habali detailed the logistical support being provided to facilitate this coverage. The Karbala Governorate has deployed 23 satellite news gathering (SNG) vehicles across the region and on the roads leading to it. Additionally, 18 LiveU devices have been made available to enhance live broadcasting capabilities.
Al-Habali emphasized the governorate's commitment to providing all necessary logistical and technical facilities to ensure the success of media coverage. This effort aligns with the need to accommodate the massive influx of millions of pilgrims attending the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage.
