Hasakah: Syrian media reported that seven people were killed and more than 20 wounded in an initial toll from the explosion of an ammunition depot booby-trapped by the SDF before their withdrawal from the town of al-Ya’rubiyah in the Hasakah countryside of northeastern Syria.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) booby-trapped an ammunition depot in the town of al-Ya’rubiyah in the Hasakah countryside and detonated it after withdrawing from the area.

Meanwhile, a military source said that Syrian army soldiers were killed and wounded in the explosion of an ammunition depot in the Hasakah countryside, while the Syrian army’s operations command stated that the SDF booby-trapped houses, corridors, and tunnels in most of the positions they withdrew from.

In the same context, a Syrian security source stated that security forces had deployed significant reinforcements to maintain security in al-Hol camp following the SDF’s withdrawal.
