Coordination Framework Discusses Parliament Presidency Vote and Ambassador Appointments


BAGHDAD: The Coordination Framework, a significant political alliance in Iraq, recently convened to deliberate on upcoming parliamentary leadership elections and the endorsement of a new roster of ambassadors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at the office of Nouri al-Maliki, leader of the State of Law Coalition. The agenda included discussions on the election for the presidency of the Council of Representatives, the appointment of new ambassadors, and matters related to the national population census.

The Coordination Framework’s regular meetings are pivotal in shaping Iraq’s political landscape, especially in light of the upcoming electoral processes and diplomatic assignments. This assembly underscores the coalition’s ongoing efforts to maintain cohesion and consensus among its member parties on critical national issues.
