BEIRUT: The Lebanese Ministry of Health has reported a significant increase in casualties due to the continued aggression by the Zionist entity on Lebanon, with the death toll now standing at 2,309 and injuries totaling 10,782 since the conflict began in October 2023.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the recent escalation in the conflict saw Zionist forces intensifying their aerial and artillery bombardment, particularly targeting the Lebanese capital, Beirut. This recent surge in violence has not only resulted in the loss of lives but also displaced over a million people from their homes. The Ministry highlighted that just yesterday, new attacks resulted in 3 deaths and 84 injuries.
The ongoing conflict, which started in October 2023, has seen a dramatic escalation in recent days. The Lebanese Ministry of Health emphasized the unprecedented scale of the attacks and the broadening of their reach, which now includes significant areas of Beirut. This extensive targeting has led to a sharp increase in
the number of casualties and the displacement of a large portion of the civilian population.
