BEIRUT: Hezbollah has carried out missile attacks on two Israeli locations, intensifying tensions in the region. The group claims to have targeted the Beit Lid barracks and the Kiryat Shmona settlement with missile barrages. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah's statement detailed the timing and targets of the attacks. "The Islamic Resistance launched at (11:00) on Monday morning a qualitative missile salvo at the Beit Lid barracks east of Netanya," the statement read. Additionally, it reported, "The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance also targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement at (10:00) this morning with a missile salvo." The statement also mentioned another attack directed at the "Stella Maris" naval base northwest of Haifa, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. The attacks come amid growing concerns about the stability in the region. Hezbollah, which Israel and the United States designate as a terrorist organization, has been involved in several conflicts with Israel over th e years. The latest missile strikes could lead to further retaliatory measures by Israel, potentially escalating the situation further.
