Diyala: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have initiated a significant security operation named “Martyr Nasrallah” in the Diyala province, focusing on enhancing the region’s security by targeting rural and agricultural zones.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was conducted by the 28th Brigade of the PMF within the Diyala Operations Sector. The forces secured and searched various villages and agricultural areas in the Khanaqin district, covering an 11-kilometer radius within the operations sector.

The PMF stated that the objective of “Martyr Nasrallah” is to maintain the already stable security conditions in the area and to thwart any activities that could disrupt this stability. This proactive measure by the PMF underscores their continuous commitment to safeguarding the region and its inhabitants from potential security threats.
