DISHON: Hezbollah has targeted an Israeli artillery position in Dishon, launching a missile salvo and effectively downing an Israeli drone in the occupied territories, escalating tensions in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah declared the attacks were in solidarity with the “steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip” and as part of the “valiant and honorable resistance.” The statement detailed that the attack on the Israeli artillery position occurred at 8:00 PM on Tuesday. It emphasized the action was also in defense of Lebanon and its populace.
Further, Hezbollah’s air defense units claimed responsibility for shooting down an Israeli Hermes 450 drone, marking it as the second such incident. The downed drone was reported to have been seen burning in the skies over occupied Palestine. These developments come amid heightened hostilities in the area, reflecting ongoing conflicts and the delicate balance of power in the Middle East.
