Baghdad: Interior Ministry said on Wednesday that it had seized more than 20 locally manufactured drones and arrested four people who possessed them in Baghdad.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency had conducted the operation that led to the seizure of the drones. These drones were reportedly intended for sale, prompting the authorities to take swift action in apprehending their owners.

The operation highlights ongoing efforts by Iraqi authorities to monitor and control the distribution of drones within the region, ensuring they do not fall into the wrong hands or are used for unlawful purposes.
