UNIFIL: The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported an incident involving an Israeli tank firing at one of its observation towers near the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon, marking a new violation against the peacekeeping force.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, UNIFIL confirmed that the tower was struck by a projectile from an Israeli Merkava tank.
