Rising Casualty Figures in Gaza: Over 42,000 Martyrs and 99,000 Wounded Since October 7


Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported a significant increase in the number of casualties resulting from the ongoing conflict, with the death toll now standing at 42,409 martyrs and 99,153 individuals wounded since October 7.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health issued a statement detailing the grim statistics and noted that within the last 24 hours, the region witnessed six major incidents termed as massacres, which resulted in 65 martyrs and 140 wounded arriving at local hospitals. The Ministry highlighted these events as part of what it describes as continued “Zionist occupation” aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The increase in casualties has escalated concerns among international observers and humanitarian organizations, calling for urgent international intervention to address the growing humanitarian crisis in the region. The situation remains tense, with ongoing conflicts contributing to the rising number of victims.
