RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported a significant increase in fatalities in the West Bank, with the death toll reaching 759 since October 7, 2023. This figure includes 165 children, as violence continues to escalate in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health released a statement on Sunday highlighting that, in addition to the fatalities, 18 women were among those killed. The statement also reported over 6,500 injuries during the same period, underscoring the severe impact on civilians.
The situation in the Gaza Strip remains dire, with ongoing hostilities resulting in 42,519 deaths and 99,637 injuries. The majority of these casualties are reportedly children and women. Rescue operations are facing significant challenges, with many victims still trapped under debris or stranded in inaccessible areas.
