Baghdad: Iraq's Ministry of Oil announced that crude oil exports for September totaled more than 99 million barrels, marking a significant output from the country's oil fields. The report highlighted the distribution of exports, with the majority originating from central and southern Iraq. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil released final statistics from the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), confirming that the total exports of crude oil in September amounted to 99 million, 311 thousand, and 107 barrels. The data specifically noted that exports from the central and southern oil fields accounted for 99 million, 4 thousand, and 320 barrels of the total export figures. The statistics further revealed that Iraq exported 306 thousand and 787 barrels of crude oil to Jordan in September. The announcement underscores Iraq's continued role as a key player in the global oil market, with substantial contributions from its oil-rich regions.
