Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has announced plans to implement eight new service projects across various districts and sub-districts within Wasit Governorate, marking a significant development initiative with a total investment of 236 billion dinars. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister's Office detailed the specific projects, which include multiple sewage developments and treatment plant installations. Among these are the Al-Bashaer sewage project, budgeted at 6.86 billion dinars, and the Al-Dhahab-Zurbatiya sewage project, costing 0.715 billion dinars. Additionally, the Badra sewage project is allocated 18.123 billion dinars, while the Al-Hafriya sewage project has been assigned 91.866 billion dinars. The Al-Zubaidiya sewage project is set to receive 43.701 billion dinars. Further projects involve the construction of treatment plants and associated infrastructure. In Al-Shahimiya district, a treatment plant with push lines will be established at a cost of 25 billio n dinars. Al-Dubuni district will see the implementation of a treatment plant with a lifting station and push lines at a cost of 24.1 billion dinars. Lastly, Wasit district will benefit from a treatment plant and a transmission line with push lines, with an investment of 21 billion dinars.
