Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the significance of government-implemented projects in Wasit Governorate during a high-level meeting, underscoring the necessity for collaboration between executive and legislative bodies to ensure effective service delivery to citizens. According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani chaired the meeting, which included the governor of Wasit, the head and members of its council, and members of the House of Representatives for the governorate. He highlighted the importance of fostering a cooperative relationship among the executive and legislative authorities, advocating for a unified team approach between the governor and provincial council members to fulfill their responsibilities and enhance citizen services. Al-Sudani outlined the government's strategic vision, asserting that the governorate serves as a critical executive arm of the state. He emphasized that both federal and local governments share challenges and collaborate towards integrated solutions.
