Al-Sudani’s Government Achieves Diplomatic Balance, Says Iraqi MP


Al-Sayhoud: Iraq’s government under Prime Minister Al-Sudani has successfully maintained a delicate balance in its Arab, regional, and international relations, effectively shielding the country from both external and internal conflicts, according to a prominent Iraqi politician.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mohammed Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, Secretary-General of Ajial (Generations) Gathering and a member of parliament, praised the current stability in Iraq, attributing it to the diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Al-Sudani. Al-Sayhoud remarked that Iraq is experiencing a level of political, security, economic, and diplomatic stability not seen in over two decades. He credited Al-Sudani’s rapid efforts in restoring internal political cohesion and resolving external crises through active engagement with political blocs and international entities.

Furthermore, Al-Sayhoud highlighted Iraq’s role in fostering regional and international balance through its positions on key issues. He noted Iraq’s support
for the Palestinian cause and opposition to Zionist actions against Lebanon as examples of its national positions. Additionally, he emphasized Iraq’s renewed influence in reducing regional tensions and mediating between conflicting parties, impacting organizations such as the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
