Baghdad: Speaker of the Council of Representatives Haibat Al-Halbousi and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on Thursday affirmed their support for diplomatic efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability in the region.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Speaker’s Media Office indicated that Al-Halbousi received Hussein, and during their meeting, they discussed political developments within the country, as well as the latest regional and international developments and their repercussions for Iraq. The discussions emphasized the importance of supporting diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability in the region. They also highlighted the need to adopt dialogue and peaceful solutions to address ongoing crises and challenges.
