BABYLON: The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of eight individuals wanted for various legal offenses in Babylon Governorate, as part of a sweeping security operation. The operation, conducted by the Babylon Police Command in collaboration with other security services, also resulted in numerous traffic violations being recorded and additional arrests for other offenses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security efforts encompassed all areas of responsibility and main checkpoints across the governorate. Beyond the arrest of the eight wanted individuals, authorities recorded 88 traffic violations and detained a person found with materials related to magic and sorcery. The operation also led to the seizure of two vehicles breaching traffic laws and the arrest of five foreign nationals for residency violations.

The Ministry of Interior stated that all individuals arrested during the operation have been subjected to necessary legal procedures and subsequently handed over to the appropriate au
thorities for further action.
