CAIRO: MP Ahmed Abdullah Al-Jubouri has been elected as the Vice President of the Arab Parliament. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Jubouri secured the position during the election session for the Speaker of Parliament, his four deputies, and the heads of the permanent committees and their deputies. The session took place in Cairo. Al-Jubouri received 55 out of 66 votes from the voters, affirming his strong support within the parliament.
