BEIRUT: Lebanese Hezbollah reported a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli military sites and gatherings on Saturday. The attacks were directed at various locations, including settlements and military bases, marking an escalation in the ongoing regional tensions. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah issued separate statements detailing the attacks, which included targeting the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Kiryut north of Haifa with rockets. Additionally, a gathering of Israeli army forces near the town of Aita al-Shaab was also targeted with rocket barrages. Hezbollah further claimed responsibility for an air attack using a squadron of suicide drones on Tel Nof air base, located south of Tel Aviv, stating that the drones hit their targets accurately. The group also reported bombing the Mishar base, identified as the main intelligence headquarters for the northern region in Safed, with a rocket salvo. Moreover, Hezbollah announced targeting a gathering of Israeli forces in the Mushayrifa area in Ras al-Naqoura, as well as a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Shlomi, both with rocket salvos. These attacks underscore the rising hostilities in the region, though the extent of the damage and any potential casualties remain unclear.
