Baghdad: Head of the State of Law Coalition Nouri al-Maliki emphasized the role of martyrs in revealing true allies of jihad and faith, while critiquing those who falsely claim to champion freedom. In a gathering of sheikhs and dignitaries in Baghdad, organized to support resistance efforts in Gaza and Lebanon, al-Maliki named martyrs such as Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Hashem Safi al-Din, and Yahya Sinwar as symbols of the struggle for truth and rights.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Maliki criticized those who use the rhetoric of freedom and democracy as a facade for aligning with Zionist goals, which he claimed aim to humiliate the Islamic nation. He asserted that the nation of the Noble Messenger Muhammad al-Mustafa cannot be humiliated and praised the resilience of the younger generation in standing against injustice, tyranny, and oppression.

He further declared that the ongoing struggle is one in which Iraq and its allies will emerge victorious, emphasizing the determination to prev
ent the nation from becoming submissive. Al-Maliki noted that this conflict has also exposed weaknesses within their own ranks, highlighting those whose commitments have waned and who have become sycophantic.

Al-Maliki concluded by lauding the courage of Iraq and its resistance fighters, stressing that the divine promise of entering Al-Aqsa Mosque remains steadfast. He assured that if not achieved in the current round of conflict, they are prepared for subsequent battles to fulfill this promise.
