Sovereignty Party Expels Diyala Council Member for Alleged Treason.

Baghdad: The Sovereignty Party has announced the expulsion of one of its members from the Diyala Provincial Council, accusing him of treason. The decision to expel member Firas Muzahim Al-Jubouri comes amidst allegations of misconduct and betrayal of the party’s principles.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the party issued a statement declaring that Al-Jubouri had been removed from his position due to his failure to adhere to the party’s principles in Diyala. The statement accused Al-Jubouri of violating the leadership’s directives and policies by engaging in suspicious deals that are detrimental to the province and its people.

The statement further elaborated that complaints from various departments within the province highlighted Al-Jubouri’s poor conduct and behavior. These actions, the party claims, have resulted in harm to both the party’s interests and the broader community it serves.
