Zionist Aggression Claims Over 62 Lives in Beit Lahia, Gaza Strip.

Gaza City: More than 62 Palestinians, including 17 children, lost their lives, and dozens were seriously injured on Tuesday in a new massacre attributed to Zionist occupation forces in the Beit Lahia project, located north of the Gaza Strip. The grim event has added to the mounting toll of violence affecting the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency /WAFA/ that the fatalities occurred after an attack on a five-story residential building that provided shelter to approximately 150 displaced people in Beit Lahia. The bombing resulted in dozens going missing, raising concerns about the safety and whereabouts of many individuals.

The sources further indicated that many remain trapped under the debris, with ongoing appeals for assistance in the search for survivors or the recovery of bodies from the rubble. The efforts are severely hampered by the inability of civil defense and ambulance services to access the affected site.

The northern Gaza Strip
, specifically Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has faced a relentless campaign characterized by siege, destruction, and forced displacement for the past 25 days. During this period, the region has been deprived of essential supplies such as food, water, fuel, and medicine. This blockade has led to the deaths of over a thousand Palestinians, leaving thousands wounded and numerous individuals unaccounted for.
