Doha: The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, engaged with the Iraqi community in Qatar during his visit to participate in the “Milipol Qatar 2024 International Exhibition for Homeland Security and Safety.” During the meeting, Al-Shammari addressed the pressing needs and requests of the Iraqi expatriates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior released a statement detailing the minister’s interaction with the community members. Al-Shammari was informed about the critical issues faced by Iraqis residing in Qatar and discussed ways to alleviate any obstacles they encounter.
