Baghdad: The detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate have successfully arrested two suspects involved in the theft of women’s bags in the Ur neighborhood area east of Baghdad. This arrest follows a report from a female citizen who informed the Directorate of her bag being stolen, which contained a sum of money, by two individuals on a motorcycle who then fled the scene.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Quds Office for Combating Crime quickly formed a team to investigate the incident. Through diligent investigation and information gathering, the team was able to apprehend the suspects. Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to multiple thefts of women’s bags. Legal actions have been initiated against them, and they have been presented to the court to face justice.
