Erbil: The head of Azm Alliance, MP Muthanna al-Samarrai, and the head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, highlighted the necessity of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. The leaders underscored the importance of unified efforts to tackle shared challenges.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Azm Alliance detailed that al-Samarrai met Talabani at his residence in Erbil. During the meeting, al-Samarrai extended his congratulations to Talabani on the successful completion of the parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region.

The statement further elaborated that both leaders engaged in discussions about the initiatives of political parties aimed at fostering joint cooperation. They also reviewed the latest developments in local, regional, and international contexts.
