Gaza: Western media reported the martyrdom of 3 Palestinians and the injury of a number of others in an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the city of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the wounded and the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the “Martyrs of Al-Aqsa” Hospital in Deir al-Balah. The situation in central Gaza has been tense, with reports of intense gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and movements behind the Moaz Abu Jabal Mosque and in the land of Al-Lawh, north of the Nuseirat camp.
Further incidents of violence were noted as Israeli boats bombed the Nuseirat beach in the central Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, a girl was killed in the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Jabalia camp. The violence there included violent explosions that were heard as residential buildings were blown up west of the Jabalia camp.
In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles opened fire on the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of
the city, which coincided with gunfire from vehicles in the southern part of the city. In the southern region of the Strip, Israeli tanks reportedly shelled and fired at the tents of the displaced in the Mawasi area, west of Rafah city.
Palestinian media reported injuries among children due to shelling by Israeli forces on a house in the Sheikh Nasser area, east of Khan Yunis city. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombing had risen to 43,061 Palestinians, with 101,223 injuries since October 7, 2023.
