Baqubah: A policeman was killed near his home in the Baladruz district, located east of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that an individual killed the policeman near his residence for unknown reasons. The security forces have since identified and arrested the perpetrator. Initial investigations suggest that the motives behind the crime were criminal rather than terrorist.
