Baghdad: The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) has reported significant achievements in their operations for the month of October. A total of 89 individuals accused of terrorism and affiliation with extremist movements have been apprehended in different operations across Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the INSS detailed these accomplishments in a recent statement, highlighting the arrest of 39 individuals on charges of terrorism. Additionally, 51 people involved in drug dealing and promotion were detained. The operations also led to the arrest of 90 individuals accused of electronic threats and blackmail, along with 50 individuals suspected of belonging to extremist religious groups. These extensive operations spanned multiple governorates throughout the country, showcasing the widespread and coordinated efforts of the INSS in maintaining national security.
