Amara: The detachments of the Maysan Police Command, represented by the Crime Control Department, successfully freed a kidnapped girl from Muthanna Governorate in one of the areas of Amara District.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that the operation to free the girl was conducted in cooperation with the Al-Rumaitha Crime Control Department in Muthanna Governorate. The rescue occurred approximately two weeks after the girl was kidnapped. Authorities have arrested the kidnapper, and legal measures have been taken against him.
