Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Shawan Madhhar Ali Rawandozi, held discussions with the Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, Lieutenant-General Lucas Schweizers, focusing on topics of mutual interest that benefit the military institution.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Defense detailed that Rawandozi hosted the Commander of the NATO Mission and several mission advisors at his office in the ministry’s headquarters. The meeting centered on various issues of mutual concern that aim to serve the military institution across all fields. The discussions emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences between Iraq and NATO countries to enhance bilateral cooperation and strengthen the security system’s foundations, ensuring the protection of Iraq’s skies and land.
