Slight Increase in Dollar Exchange Rates Observed in Iraq’s Local Markets.


Baghdad: The dollar exchange rates recorded a slight increase today in the local markets of the capital, Baghdad, as well as in Basra and Erbil. The fluctuations in exchange rates are being closely monitored by financial analysts and businesses operating in these key economic hubs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exchange rates today were recorded as follows: in Baghdad, $100 was exchanged for 152,000 dinars; in Erbil, $100 was exchanged for 151,500 dinars; and in Basra, $100 was exchanged for 151,400 dinars.

These changes come amidst ongoing discussions about economic policies and their impact on the local currency, prompting concerns and considerations among traders and investors in the region.
