Najaf: The anti-crime forces in Najaf successfully arrested the individual responsible for the killing of a teacher just hours after the incident took place. The swift action by law enforcement highlights the effective coordination and response of the local police forces in dealing with such crimes.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mufid Salem, the media official in the Najaf Police Command, stated that following the widespread circulation of the news on social media about the killing of an educational staff member in Najaf, the police, under the leadership of Major General Alaa Jaber, conducted an intensive field operation that led to the arrest of the suspect. The suspect has since been handed over to justice.

Salem further explained that the operation was executed in collaboration with the Falcons Cell in the governorate. The accused has had their statements recorded judicially. Initial investigations suggest that family disputes may have been a motive behind the crime.
