Barzani Asserts Kurdistan’s Struggles Are Rooted in Sacrifices.

Salah al-Din: The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, declared that the issue concerning the people of Kurdistan will persist due to the sacrifices made by the Kurdish population. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani met with Futoshi Matsumoto, the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, at the Salah al-Din resort to discuss the political situation in Iraq and the broader region. The meeting emphasized the significance of enhancing relations and fostering friendships between the Kurdish and Japanese communities across various domains. Barzani reiterated that the advancements achieved by the Kurdish people are a direct result of their sacrifices, and not benefits bestowed by external entities. He assured that the issue of Kurdistan will remain steadfast due to these struggles and efforts. The Japanese ambassador, during his farewell visit marking the end of his tenure, expressed his admiration for the Kurdish people's perseverance and the pivotal role of Barzani in the Kurdish stru ggle and the political evolution in Iraq and Kurdistan.
