Karbala: The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidane, emphasized the importance of judicial procedures against individuals involved in drug-related crimes and deviant movements. During his visit to the presidency of the Karbala Court of Appeal, Zidane engaged in discussions with judges and members of the Public Prosecution, focusing on the judiciary's role in reinforcing the rule of law within the holy Karbala Governorate. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting highlighted Zidane's insistence on tightening judicial actions against those committing drug crimes, as well as immoral activities and deviant movements that exploit religion as a facade for their unlawful undertakings.
