Baghdad: The Ministry of Labor, in collaboration with the World Bank, is taking significant steps towards enhancing the electronic systems of the Social Protection Authority. The head of the authority, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, engaged in discussions with a World Bank delegation to outline the executive procedures for the grant program aimed at equipping the authority with necessary electronic devices.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on distributing electronic devices across the IT departments within the social protection offices in Baghdad and other governorates. This initiative is part of the authority’s effort to modernize its systems and equipment, aiming to improve performance and streamline operations across various departments.

Al-Moussawi emphasized that the grant will also support social researchers by providing them with tablet devices. These tools are intended to facilitate quicker field surveys and data updates, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of soci
al protection services.
