Baghdad: The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced today the capture of five individuals wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made during specialized operations targeting terrorist elements in the Karkh region of Baghdad.

The agency revealed in a statement that the operations were a result of precise intelligence gathering and diligent field follow-up. The arrested individuals had warrants issued against them under Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law. Upon interrogation, the detainees confessed to engaging in terrorist activities in the past.
