Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Sunday, that air defense systems successfully intercepted and shot down 23 drones operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces across various Russian regions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry’s statement detailed that the drone attack, which targeted facilities on Russian territory, was effectively thwarted by the air defense systems. The report specified that 17 drones were destroyed over Bryansk Province, 3 drones over Rostov Province, 2 drones over Belgorod Province, and 1 drone over Kursk Province.
