Hillah: A man was killed on Monday evening by an electric shock he was exposed to while working in a shop in the Abu Ghraq district west of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, reported that the police received a report concerning the death. The man succumbed to an electric shock while he was engaged in his work at the shop.

Brigadier General Al-Husseini stated that the police have transferred the deceased’s body to the forensic medicine department for further examination. An official investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of the fatal incident.
