Baghdad:Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajeh, on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and developing joint cooperation. The ministers addressed the situation in Lebanon and the broader region, including the issue of displaced Lebanese persons and challenges facing the Lebanese banking sector.

Minister Rajeh expressed gratitude to Iraq for its hospitality and praised its ongoing support for Lebanon. Fuad Hussein reiterated Iraq’s commitment to continue supporting Lebanon and enhancing coordination to promote security and stability in the region.
