Seoul: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken expressed his confidence in reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and an agreement on detainees, but perhaps after US President Joe Biden leaves office on January 20.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Blinken told reporters from the South Korean capital, Seoul, on Monday: “If we cannot reach the finish line in the next two weeks, I am confident that it will be completed at some point, and I hope that it will be sooner rather than later, and when that happens, it will be based on the plan that President Biden has put forward.”
