Baghdad: Federal Police forces arrested 4 drug dealers in Al-Habibiya area east of Baghdad. The Federal Police Command stated in a statement that the arrest operation came with the support and assistance of the intelligence effort, as the wanted gang members were followed up in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 Narcotics).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint search and investigation team from the 18th Brigade, 5th Division, Federal Police, in coordination with the security and intelligence services, was formed to apprehend the suspects. The team moved to the specified location, and after collecting information, a tight ambush was set up that successfully led to the arrest of the accused. During the operation, authorities found in their possession 3 nylon bags containing crystal narcotics, an electronic scale, a Kia vehicle, and a motorcycle.

The accused were handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against them.
