Ankara: The Turkish Defense Ministry announced the killing of 29 PKK militants in operations carried out by the Turkish army in northern Syria. The statement was made public through a post on the “X” platform, detailing the events that led to the military action.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Defense Ministry reported that the PKK militants were preparing to launch an attack on Turkish forces stationed in northern Syria. In response, Turkish forces launched a preemptive strike against these groups, resulting in the death of 29 militants, while the remaining members fled the scene.

The Turkish Defense Ministry further indicated that Turkey will persist in its military operations against the PKK organization beyond its borders. This move is part of Turkey’s ongoing efforts to protect its citizens from terrorism, as stated in their online post.
