Dhi Qar: The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mohammed Al-Hassan, arrived in Dhi Qar Governorate. He was greeted by the Chairman of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council and several council members at Imam Ali Air Base.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this visit is part of a field tour that includes the governorate’s most prominent landmarks. During his stay, Mr. Al-Hassan plans to visit the ancient city of Ur and the marshes of Dhi Qar.
