Diwaniyah: A meeting convened by the Higher Agricultural Committee in Diwaniyah Governorate brought together directors of departments involved in the agricultural sector to present and discuss plans aimed at bolstering the governorate’s agricultural capabilities and reputation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Committee Chairman, Governor Abbas al-Zamili, emphasized during the meeting the necessity of collaborative efforts to prepare an economic program that would position Diwaniyah as Iraq’s agricultural capital. The discussions included several proposals and fostered an exchange of views on how to effectively advance the agricultural sector. The governor stressed the importance of serious commitment from all relevant parties to achieve these ambitious goals.
