Paris:The U.S. Department of State has issued a security alert for American citizens in France in light of new protests anticipated to occur on Saturday. The alert advises U.S. nationals to avoid demonstration sites and large public gatherings due to concerns about potential violence and unrest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the alert posted on the U.S. Embassy in France’s website highlights previous demonstrations that have resulted in violence, property damage, looting, and assaults on police officers. Additionally, law enforcement has responded with measures such as tear gas.

The U.S. Department of State emphasized the importance of avoiding areas where demonstrations or large public gatherings are occurring and urged citizens to exercise caution during this period.
