Signing 100 Memoranda of Understanding Among Iraqi and Iranian Universities to Develop Scientific Cooperation


Karbala: Iraqi and Iranian universities signed 100 memoranda of understanding to develop scientific cooperation within the activities of the Science Week currently being held in Karbala.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Higher Education stated in a statement that the memoranda of understanding included enhancing scientific exchange in various scientific and technological disciplines. The agreements aim to organize joint training programs for students and instructors, exchange academic expertise in the fields of scientific research, and develop cooperation in the fields of modern technology and innovation. The focus is on practical applications that contribute to the development of economic and scientific sectors and the establishment of scientific and technical parks in Iraqi universities.



The universities of the two countries agreed to implement research projects and encourage cooperation in the field of joint scientific supervision, updating curricula, and exchanging scholarships.
