London: Five people are currently receiving medical treatment following a stabbing incident that occurred in the southern part of London, as announced by the British Ambulance Service in the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ambulance service disclosed that one of the injured individuals has been transferred to a trauma center in London, while the other four victims have been taken to a hospital for further care. To respond to the incident, a variety of support resources were dispatched to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, members of the Tactical Response Unit, and the London Air Ambulance.

Authorities have confirmed the arrest of a man in connection with the stabbing attack that took place in Croydon. However, London police have not yet provided information regarding the suspect’s motive or nationality. British media outlets have reported that the incident happened in proximity to an “Asda” supermarket.
