Hillah: Security forces arrested a thief specialized in stealing women’s bags in the center of Hillah, the center of Babylon Governorate. Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, confirmed the arrest, stating that the thief was caught in a well-planned ambush.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the thief was apprehended while in the act of chasing a woman, following a detailed investigation involving the review of surveillance footage. The authorities managed to seize a motorcycle, which the thief used to facilitate his crimes, along with other tools employed during the thefts.

The arrest highlights the efforts of the local security forces in combating theft and ensuring the safety of residents in Hillah. The operation was a result of meticulous planning and coordination among law enforcement agencies, aimed at curbing criminal activities in the area.
