Kadhimiya: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, today conducted a field visit to the holy city of Kadhimiya, where he reviewed the progress of the service and security plan for commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani interacted with the visitors at the Kadhimiya shrine and met with several citizens, commending the efforts of volunteers managing the processions along the routes taken by pilgrims. The Prime Minister also convened with the Supreme Security Committee for Million-Person Visits, led by the Minister of Interior and its members, as well as the Service Committee. He emphasized the significance of teamwork and integrated efforts in managing the ceremonies and accommodating the influx of visitors to Kadhimiya.

Al-Sudani reiterated his directives on the need for ongoing development of strategies for organizing large-scale visits, urging the preparation of comprehensive reports to enhance successes and address any shortcomings. He highlighted that the success of the visit ceremony is a result of collective efforts and stressed the importance of maintaining coordination until visitors safely return to their homes. He expressed gratitude for the efforts of all involved parties, including ministries, security, and service leaders, in ensuring the plan's success.

Additionally, Al-Sudani visited the Military Intelligence Directorate's headquarters to meet with officers and commanders, reviewing their work and preparations during the visit period.
