Diyala: A joint security force arrested the most dangerous wanted persons in a qualitative operation northeast of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that a joint security force supported by intelligence carried out a qualitative operation in the vicinity of Muqdadiyah district, northeast of Baqubah, and was able to arrest the most dangerous organized crime gangs wanted by the judiciary on charges of kidnapping and extortion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was executed in a well-planned ambush that led to their arrest. For its part, the Diyala Police Command announced the arrest of the most dangerous wanted persons according to Article 4 of Terrorism in a qualitative operation northeast of Baqubah.

The command stated in a statement that the terrorist, sentenced to life in absentia, was arrested during a qualitative security operation carried out by a force from the Tactical Unit, which contributed to his arrest and seizure of a weapon in his possession, without any significant losses.

The statement confirmed that legal measures were taken against him to bring him to justice to receive his just punishment.
